Hello everyone - a brief post to let you know that I'm going to enable 'Comment Moderation' on the blog because of some recent comments in Japanese! I hope I'm not maligning a very keen japanese poet : ) but I don't think so. And it takes me some time to delete them all too.
This means that when you comment it won't appear straight away, but I'll act as promptly as I can to publish them.
Thanks for your understanding. I dislike constraints but sometimes they're inevitable.

I keep getting Japanese comments, too. I send them to my daughter who's studying Japanese and she tells me very definitely they're spam! She hasn't felt able to tell me exactly what they say .... ominous!
Gosh, many of us in the States, that have blog sites, still get those odd Japanese comments slip through the spam guards. Perhaps somewhere in the mysterious Orient, there are nefarious thugs who simply go out there in Cyberness and scatter their commercial messages willy nilly. Not quite as bad as the telemarketers who interrupt dinner, but nearly.
I've plugged some of those into
Babelfish. They don't seem to make sense in either Japanese or Chinese.
